Welcome to Smith Family Chiropractic

We are proud to offer a unique blend of expertise and patient-centered care for families in all stages of life and health.

Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts and is based on the premise that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system. The spine in particular, offers protection to the delicate spinal cord and nerves. Irritation to the nervous system can occur with spinal misalignments or spinal dysfunction. Chiropractic locates and corrects spinal dysfunction allowing your nervous system to work optimally. Regular spinal adjustments are a part of your body's defense against injury and illness.

Comprehensive Myofascial Therapy  (CMT)

CMT is a soft tissue therapy technique that uses physical pressure and oil to address injury to both large and small muscle groups. This therapy helps to increase blood flow and oxygen to the area as well as break down scar tissue and identify potential trigger points. CMT has the benefit of speeding up recovery by helping to relax the muscle tissue. This is beneficial to both the patient and chiropractor as it can help make a spinal adjustment smoother by reducing muscle restrictions.

Theralase Therapeutic Laser Treatments provide patients with a safe, effective and painless therapy that uses the body's own natural healing systems to relieve pain, increase joint mobility, increase tissue integrity and promote cell regeneration.

Soft-Tissue Therapies

Therapeutics involving myofascial trigger points, muscle release therapy, ultrasound, mechanical percussion massage, fascial stripping, cross fiber massage, lymph drainage and deep tissue massage.

Healthy and not so healthy feet of all ages are assessed and diagnosed with recommendations for special considerations being forwarded with our custom foot castings, to our creator of extremely durable and versatile corrective support.

The technique of acupuncture involves placing hair-thin needles in various trigger points palpated by the practitioner. The local effects produced by the needle include pain relief and increase in blood flow which helps bring oxygen to the damaged tissue, which assists the healing process.
